For Children, Parents, and Teachers

Allegheny Power is pleased to support area schoolteachers by providing free, high quality educational materials on energy conservation and electric safety. Providing energy efficiency information to service area schools is an important component of Allegheny Power’s Watt Watchers initiative. We will send a mailing to all schools offering grade-appropriate, standards-based materials that teach basic skills using energy as the platform. Teachers may preview and order the materials online.

Allegheny Power is pleased to bring you important information about electricity. This interactive site will give you useful information about energy and safety. Kids--we invite you to join Louie the Lightning Bug in Electric Universe to learn important safety tips and more about electric energy. In addition, the site has information for middle, junior high, and high school students as well as information for adults and teachers.
